Hei! Madrid-teemalla vielä jatkuu! Aika iso osa matkasta kulutettiin fanittamiseen. Aws on nimittäin älyttömän kova Real Madrid-fani, joten käytiin Santiago Bernabéu -stadionkierroksella ja toisena päivänä käytiin vielä kattoon peli. Itse en oo niin kiinnostunut jalkapallosta, mutta kai sitä Madridissa asuneena kuuluu ainakin kerran elämässään käydä Realin pelissä 😀 Ja hieno kokemus se oli!

Hello! Still going on with the Madrid theme! Aws is a big Real Madrid fan, so on the first day we went to a tour in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium and we also went to see a game on another day. I’m not such a big fan of foot ball, but as a former Madrid resident, I guess I’m supposed to see at least one Real Madrid game 😀 It was a really cool experience!

Sopivasti ennen matkaa katsottiin loppuun La Casa de Papel-sarja, joka on aika uusi, huippusuosittu espanjalainen sarja. Suosittelen ehdottomasti, ihan 10/10. Musta on myös aivan ihanaa katsoa sarjaa tai elokuvaa, jossa puhutaan espanjaa! Tietysti sitten sarjan ankarina faneina haluttiin mennä kattomaan paikka, jossa sarjaa on kuvattu. Sarja kertoo rikollisryhmästä, joka suunnittelee suurta ryöstöä rahanpainotehtaaseen, joka sijaitsee Madridin keskustassa. Googlattiin paikka ja käveltiin ekana päivänä sinne. Paikan päällä huomattiinkin, että ainakaan sarjan ulkoilmakohtauksia ei oo kuvattu samassa paikassa. Googlattiin lisää ja löydettiin maininta toisesta paikasta. Seuraavana päivänä mentiin ensimmäiseksi sinne! Kunnes huomattiin, että sekään ei ollu oikea paikka. Taas googletusta ja löydettiin kolmas paikka. Hypättiin metroon ja ajettiin sinne. Vihdoin löydettiin oikea rakennus! Päivä sattui kuitenkin olemaan lauantai, joten kaikki portit rakennuksen ympärillä oli kiinni ja nähtiin rakennus vaan kaukaa. No, neljäs kerta toden sanoo. Maanantaina ajeltiin samaan paikkaan uudelleen ja sillä kertaa päästiin sitten ihan lähietäisyydelle 😀

Just in time before the trip we finished watching the series La Casa de Papel, which is a quite new Spanish show. I highly recommend, absolutely a 10/10. I also love to watch movies or series where they speak Spanish! Of course, as big fans, we wanted to see the place where they filmed the episodes. The story is about a group of criminals who plan to rob the place where money is printed, right in the center of Madrid. We googled the place and walked there on our first day. When we got there, we noticed that at least the outdoors parts of the show are not filmed in the same place. We googled more and found another place mentioned. The next day we went there, and again we realized it was not the right place. Google again and then we found a third place. We jumped to a metro and drove there. Finally we found the right place! The day happened to be a Saturday, so all the gates around the building were closed and we could only see it from far. Well, one more try. On Monday we took the metro there again and finally we got to see the place for real! 😀

Ei siitä pääse mihinkään, että Madridilla on edelleen aivan erityinen paikka mun sydämessä ja muuttaisin ihan samantien sinne, jos työt järjestyisi. Tietysti Suomessakin on hyvä asua ja monet asiat on täällä paljon paremmin, mutta silti palaisin mielelläni Madridiin. Mulla on jo jonkin aikaa ollut ilmoitusvahti asunnonvälityssivulla, joka päivittäin ilmoittelee mulle uusista vapaista asunnoista Madridissa. Ihan vaan mielenkiinnosta. Saapa nähdä…

I can’t help it, that Madrid still has a very special place in my heart and I would move there in an instant if I could figure out the work stuff. Of course living in Finland is good and many things are so much better here, but I would still like to return to Madrid. For a while now I’ve had this apartment tracking thing on, that notifies me every day of new apartments in Madrid. Just out of interest. Let’s see…
