October roster

annimarian October rosterOctober roster – Heippa! Uusi lista on taas täällä ja oon aika innoissani. Ens kuussa aletaan taas lentään Dubaihin ja olin toivonut Dubaita, koska se on mun mielestä kiva kohde. Sain pitkän Dubain (2,5 päivää perillä) ja Aws pääsee todennäköisesti mun mukaan. Erinäisistä syistä johtuen Aws ei oo aikaisemmin päässyt mukaan mun reissuille ja nyt päästään ehkä ekaa kertaa yhdessä matkustaan. Niin siistiä! Kuun alussa käyn Bangkokissa, sitä olin kans toivonut. Lennot on toki rankkoja, mutta perillä on vaivatonta ja siitä saa aina neljä vapaata. Rankat lennot menee, kun tietää, että vapaat on tulossa. Ens kuussa mulla on myös pt-päivät eli ne kerran vuodessa pidettävät kertauspäivät, jolloin käydään läpi turvajuttuja, ensiapua sun muuta. Tältä lista siis näyttää:

October roster – Hello! A new roster is here and I am quite exited! Next month we will start flying to Dubai again and I had asked for Dubai flights, because I like to fly there. I got the long Dubai (2,5 days there) and Aws will probably fly with me. Because of certain reasons Aws has not been able to fly with me at all this far so this will be our first trip together! So cool! In the beginning of the month I will fly to Bangkok, I had wished that as well. Of course the flights there are rough, but it is easy and nice there and we get four days off after Bangkok. I can take the rough flights when I know I’ll have the time off after. Next month I also have the recurrent training days, those that we have once a year to go through the safety and first aid stuff. So that’s how my October roster looks like!

annimarian September rosterSeptember roster – Uusi lista on taas täällä! Aika vaihteleva lista tuli, on kaukoa, yölento, kaukopäivystystä, kotimaan yöpyviä ja Eurooppaa. Olin toivonu Nykkiä ja sen sain. Sain myös pari Oulun yöpyvää mitä olin kans toivonu. Ihan kiva lista siis! Tällaisia lentoja on tulossa:

September roster – A new list is here! I got a little bit of everything, I have long-haul flight, night flight, long haul standby, domestic overnight flights and European flights. I had wished for NYC and I got it. I also asked for Oulu overnight flights and I got two. A nice roster in other words!

Korea shopping – Hellou! Tässä Korean reissujen ostossaalis! Oon siis ollut Koreassa nyt pariin otteeseen parin viikon sisällä ja niinkuin aikaisemminkin mainitsin, kosmetiikkaa oli ostoslistalla. Ensimmäisen kuvan tuotteet ostin nyt viimeisimmällä reissulla ja nuo meikkituotteet sillä edellisellä reissulla. Ekalla kerralla sain kasan näytteitä mukaan, joten tiesin mitä menen seuraavalla kerralla ostamaan.

Tuo viimeisen kuvan vihertävä puteli on meikki primeri, jonka vihreä sävy taittaa ihon punaisuutta pois. Se antaa myös ihanan hehkun iholle, joten kuivempikin iho näyttää kuulaalta. Edellisellä reissulla halusin ostaa myös huultenrajauskynän, koska mulla ei vielä ollut oikein kunnon punaista rajauskynää. Kaupassa oli tarjous, jolla sai toisen kynän puoleen hintaan, niin otin sitten kaksi! Primeri maksoi muistaakseni alle kympin ja huultenrajauskynät yhteensä noin viisi euroa.

Sain viime reissulla näytteen tuollaisesta etananaamiosta ja se oli niin ihana, että ostin niitä nyt lisää. Yks menee äitille 🙂 Naamiot oli muuhun hintatasoon nähden aika arvokkaita, noin 4-5 euroa kappale, mutta tiesin niiden olevan toimivia tuotteita, joten ostin silti. Ostin myös tuon pyöreässä purkissa olevan aloe vera-geelin, josta myös sain edellisellä kerralla näytteen. Siinä sanotaan, että sitä voi käyttää sekä iholle että hiuksiin, joten heti hotellilla kokeilin sitä naamion tapaisesti hiuksiin ja päänahkaan. Ihanasti viilensi herkästi kutiavaa päänahkaa! Lisäksi ostin tuon tuubissa olevan aloe vera sleeping packing. Varmaan samaa tavaraa kuin tuo toinenkin aloe vera geeli, same same but different, you know. Se on siis naamio, joka laitetaan yöksi kasvoille ja aamulla huuhdellaan vedellä pois. Ajattelin alkaa käyttään tuota aina kaukolentojen jälkeen, pitkillä lennoilla kun iho tahtoo kuivua.

Menolennolla sain haavan sormeeni ja aloin sitomaan haavaa ihan maalarinteipillä. Korealainen kollega näki tämän ja juoksi saman tien laukulleen ja antoi mulle sellaisen kirkkaan pienen tarran, jonka se liimas haavan päälle. Sitten se antoi mulle paketin, jossa oli vielä pari tarraa jäljellä ja käski mennä paketin kanssa kauppaan ja pyytää samanlaisia. Tarrat sopii siis kuulemma finnien tai arpien hoitoon, mutta myös pienille haavoille. Minähän sitten kuuliaisena tyttönä menin ostamaan noita tarroja. Nature Republicin myyjä väitti, että heidän tuote ajaa saman asian, kuin se mun mallituotekin, joten uskoin myyjää ja ostin 😀

Nuo pikku putelit ja pussit on näytteitä taas uusista tuotteista. Ens kuulle ei oo Koreaa tiedossa, niin ainakin hetkeksi nyt riittää kosmetiikkashoppailut!

Korea shopping – Hello! Here are the things I bought from Korea! I have been to Korea twice now in a few weeks and like I mentioned before, I shopped some cosmetics. The products in the first picture I bought on my last trip and those make-up products I bought from the previous trip. On the previous trip I got a lot of samples with me, so the next time I knew what I was going to buy.

The greenish bottle in the last picture is a make-up primer. It is lightly green, so it takes away the redness of the skin. It also gives a lovely glow to the skin, so even a dry skin looks nice and bright. On my last trip I also wanted to buy a lip liner, because I still didn’t have a bright red liner. They had an offer that the second pen was half price, so I took two. The primer cost less that ten euros, if I remember correctly and the lip liners were around five euros together.

On my last trip I got a sample of a snail mask and it was so good that this time I bought more of them. One of those is going to my mom 🙂 The masks were quite pricey compared to the other products, around 4-5 euros each, but I knew they were good, so I bought them anyway. I also bought the aloe vera gel in the round package, which I also got a sample of the last time. It says it can be used on the skin and hair, so I already tested it like a mask on my hair and scalp at the hotel. My scalp gets itchy easily, so the gel cooled it down nicely! I bought that tube of aloe vera sleeping pack as well. I suppose it is pretty much the same stuff as the other aloe vera gel, same same but different, you know. It is a mask, that is put on the face for the night and then rinsed away with water in the morning. I’m planning on using this always after a long-haul flight, since the skin get easily dry on the long flights.

On the flight to Korea I got a little wound on my finger and I started to fix the wound with painter’s tape. A Korean colleague saw this and ran to her bag and gave me this clear, small sticker to put on the wound. Then she gave me the package with a couple of stickers left and told me to go to a shop with the package and ask them to give me similar. The stickers are supposed to heal pimples, scars and also small wounds. I obeyed her order and went to buy the stickers. The sales person at Nature Republic told me that their product does the same as my sample, so I believed her and bought their product 😀

Those small bottles and bags are samples of new products again. Next month I’m not going to Korea, so no cosmetics shopping for a while now!

annimarian Back in KoreaBack in Korea – Terveisiä Koreasta! Täällä sitä taas ollaan. Kello on vähän yli yhdeksän illalla paikallista aikaa ja mua väsyttää ihan hirveästi. Tultiin aamulla hotellille ja nukuin kyllä sillon ihan kivasti, mutta jostain syystä taas väsyttää. Mulla on ollut vähän flunssainen olo pari päivää, joten ehkä se on syy väsymykselle.

Unien jälkeen kävin tuossa läheisessä marketissa taas ostoksilla, niinkuin viime verrallakin. Ostin ruokaa, kuten kuvasta näkyy 😀 Pari noita kahvipakkauksia on menossa yhdelle Awsin kaverille, joka kerran pyysi mua tuomaan yhtä kahvia maailmalta, jos satun löytämään. En oo vielä missään nähny kyseistä kahvia, mutta tuo hasselpähkinä cappucino on aika lähellä sitä. En malttanut olla ostamatta noita kuvan alareunassa näkyviä snackeja, kun niiden sanotaan olevan perinteisiä korealaisia snackeja ja ne maksoi alle euron kappale. Maistoin jo toisia ja ei kyllä voi kovin kummoiseksi makuelämykseksi sanoa…

Olin ihan liian väsynyt lähtemään etsiin mitään ravintolaa, joten mun illallinen oli kuvassa näkyvät “jutut”. Tietääkö joku, miksi noita sanotaan? Nyt taidan vaan venytellä vähän aikaa ja mennä sitten suihkun kautta nukkumaan. Kivaa tiistai-iltaa! 🙂

Back in Korea – Greetings from Korea! Here I am again. It is a little bit over 9 pm the local time and I am super tired. We arrived to the hotel in the morning and and I slept quite well then, but now I feel tired again. I have been feeling a little bit sick for a couple of days, so maybe that’s the reason for my tiredness.

After my sleep I went to the market nearby to do my shopping, like last time. I bought food, as you can see in the picture 😀 A couple of those coffee boxes are going to Aws’s friend, who once asked me to bring this one specific coffee if I see it somewhere around the world. I still didn’t see that coffee anywhere, but that hazelnut cappucino is very similar. I had to also try those snacks you see in the bottom of the picture, because it says they are traditional Korean snacks and they were less than one euro. I already tasted the other ones and I have to admit, it wasn’t too good…

I was way too tired to go and look for a restaurant, so my dinner was those “things” in the picture. Anyone knows what they are called? Now I think I will stretch for a moment and then take a shower and hop in bed. Have a great Tuesday night! 🙂

annimarian Home from KoreaHome from Korea – Heippa! Koreasta on kotiuduttu! Oli kivan rauhallinen reissu ja lennot oli aika leppoisia. Ja korealaiset kollegat oli supermukavia! Kyselin niiltä kovasti vinkkejä hyvistä kosmetiikkamerkeistä ja tuotteista, koska korealaiset taitaa olla -jos ei maailman parhaita, niin ainakin kärkikastia, mitä kosmetiikkaan tulee. Paluulennolla sain kollegalta oikein listan parhaista merkeistä. Ens reissulla pitää sitten perehtyä paremmin!

Ostin meikin alla käytettävän vihreän sävyisen primerin, jonka pitäis neutraloida punaista väriä iholta. Merkki on Nature Republic. Samalla sain vaikka kuinka monta erilaista näytettä eri tuotteista. Kokeilin heti hotellilla kasvonaamiota, jossa on jotain etana-uutetta. En ehkä halua tarkemmin tietää, miten se liittyy etanoihin, mutta iho tuntui ihanan kimmoisalta naamion jälkeen! Oon menossa parin viikon päästä uudellen Koreaan, niin pitää ihan ostaa noita naamioita. Etukäteen tiesin, että Koreassa myydään suorastaan legendaarista etanavoidetta. Kysyin voiteesta korealaiselta kollegalta, joka totesi vain, että “Honey, you’re too young for that”, joten jätin sen vielä ostamatta 🙂

Oli muuten suorastaan huvittavaa, kun puhuttiin korealaisten kanssa Pohjois-Korean tilanteessa. Suomessakin uutisoidaan jatkuvasti, mitä siellä Korean niemimaalla oikein tapahtuu ja kyllä sitä aina vähän tulee miettineeksi, varsinkin kun juuri sinne pitää lentää. Itsekin mietin ennen lentoa, että voishan sitä tietenkin jonnekin muuallekin päin maailmaa mieluummin lentää… Sitten kollegat kertoi, että ne  on niin tottuneita kaikkeen tuohon uutisointiin, että ne ei edes välitä enää koko jutusta. Niitten juttuja kuunneltua tuli itsellekin vähän rauhallisempi mieli 😀

Nyt mulla on sitten muutama vapaa. Toivotaan, että on lämmintä! Postauksen kuvat on otettu ennen reissua, kun oli lämmintä ja aurinkoista. Jospa sama sää nyt jatkuis! Kivaa viikkon alkua 🙂

Home from Korea – Hello! I’m back home from Korea now. It was nice and cool trip and the flights were pretty easy. And the Korean colleagues were super nice! I asked them a lot for tips about some beauty products and brands, because the Koreans are – if not the best then among the best, when it comes to cosmetics. On the flight back home I even got a list of good brands from a Korean colleague. Next time there I have to do some research!

This time I bought a make up primer, that has a green tint to neutralize a red skin tone. The brand is Nature Republic. I also got a bunch of free samples of different products. At the hotel I tested this face mask with some snail extract. I don’t want to know the details of that snail extract, but my skin felt so firm and nice after the mask! I will go to Korea again in a couple of weeks, so I will buy those masks. Beforehand I knew that Korea is famous for some snail cream that is like legendary thing. I asked my Korean colleague about it and she just said “Honey, you are too young for that” so I didn’t buy it 🙂

It was almost funny when we spoke about the situation of the North-Korea with the Korean colleagues. In Finland it is in the news all the time what is happening there and I do think about it sometimes, especially if I have to fly there. I mean, there are other parts of the planet where I might rather fly than close to North-Korea. Then the colleagues told us that they are sooo used to all of that, that they don’t even think about it. That calmed my mind a lot 😀

Now I will have a few days off. Let’s hope the weather will be nice! The pictures of this post were taken before the trip. Let’s hope the weather stays good! Have a good beginning of the week! 🙂
