Mini vacay – Heippa! Mulla on nyt vähän pitempi vapaa niin tulin käymään mun vanhemmilla täällä Oulun lähellä. Awsin oli tarkoitus tulla kans, mutta sillä onkin töitä sillain, ettei se päässytkään. Hyppäsin eilen puolilta päivin junaan yötöiden jälkeen. Mulla oli siis ma-ti yö töitä, lensin yö-Alicanten. Itse lento ei tuntunut pahalta, mutta kotiinpäästyä olikin eri fiilis. Kun pääsin aamulla kotiin, tiesin, etää ehdin nukkua vajaat kaks tuntia ennen kuin pitää lähtä junalle. Voin kertoa, että niiden kahden tunnin tirsojen jälkeen oli aikamoinen olo 😀 Junassa en saanu nukuttua, mutta viime yönä nukuin ihanasti varmaan 12 tuntia.

Täytyypä antaa muuten hyvää palautetta VR:lle. Eilen ennen junan lähtöä menin aikaisin asemalle, koska halusin siirtää ne Awsin junaliput toiselle ajalle, ettei ne jäis käyttämättä. En ollu ehtiny juuri katella aikoja ja junia, joten ajattelin että helpointa olis siirtää ne liput siellä asiakaspalvelussa. Mulla oli 35 minuuttia aikaa ennen junan lähtöä, mutta mun edessä oli 40 asiakasta, joten en olis millään ehtiny tehä siirtoa asiakaspalvelussa. Soitin siitä sitten asiakaspalvelunumeroon. Heti vastattiin ja ystävällinen asiakaspalvelija luetteli mulle vaihtoehtoja haluamalleni viikonlopulle. Varmaan viidessä minuutissa siirto oli tehty, siirtomaksu maksettu ja homma kunnossa! Ja puhelukin oli ilmainen! Ihanaa, kun asiat joskus sujuu helpommin kuin olettaa 🙂

Nyt oon siis loppuviikon täällä porukoilla. Tänään aijon ainakin pestä mattoja! Nyt ainakin paistaa aurinko, niin pitääkin mennä äkkiä ulos ennen kuin sää ehtii muuttua. Kivaa keskiviikkoa!

Mini vacay – Hello! Now I have a little longer time off so I came to visit my parents here near Oulu. Aws was supposed to come as well, but he has work so that he couldn’t come after all. I jumped on the train yesterday around noon after a night of working. I had a night-Alicante on the Mon-Tue night. The flight itself wasn’t so bad, but the feeling after coming home was a little different. When I got home in the morning I knew that I have less than two hours to sleep before I have to go to catch the train. I can tell you that after that nap I was feeling quite horrible 😀 I couldn’t sleep in the train, but last night I slept around 12 hours. Lovely!

I have to give good feedback to VR (the train company in Finland). Yesterday I went to the station early so I could have time to go to the customer service to change the date on Aws’s ticket. I wanted to change it to another date, so it wouldn’t go to waste. I hadn’t had time to check any schedules or anything, so I thought it would be easiest to do the change in the customer service. I had 35 minutes before the departure, but there were over 40 people on the line before me so I couldn’t have made it. So I called their customer service number. They answered right away and this nice customer servant listed all the options on the dates I wanted.Within 5 minutes we had the change done, the little payment paid and all good! Even the phone call was for free! It’s so nice when things go smoother than expected 🙂

Now for the rest of the week I’m here at my parents’. Today I will at least wash carpets! Note to the non-Finnish readers, washing the carpets or rugs outside is a very traditional summer thing to do. Google “matonpesu” if you don’t know how it looks like 🙂 It is sunny now, so I’ll better get going before the weather changes! Have a nice Wednesday!
