Midsummer through my phone – Heippa! Paluu arkeen ja töihin koitti tänään, mulla oli lento Budapestiin. Postauksen kuvat on puhelimella napsittuja kuvia juhannukselta! Oltiin siis mökillä perinteiseen tapaan. Sää oli aika kylmä, mutta ei satanut, joten en valita! Lauantaina päivällä oli jopa hetki aurinkoista. Just ennen juhannusta palasin New Yorkista ja mun flunssa vähän innostui uudelleen siinä paluussa. Liekö leparilla sitten ollut vähän kylmä vai mitä, mutta levon jälkeen kun palasin töihin oli kurkkukipu taas palannut. Juhannuskin meni sitten vähän vaihtelevassa olotilassa, mutta eipä tullut ainakaan juhlittua liian ankarasti.
Juhannuksen ohjelmaan kuului, yllätys yllätys, hyvää ruokaa ja juomaa hyvässä seurassa. Juhannussauna ja perinteinen juhannuspäivän karaoke piti flunssaisen olon takia skipata. Meidän suvun juhannuksesta ei kyllä omaperäisiä ohjelmanumeroita puutu! Viimeinen kuva antakoon vähän suuntaa… Ehkä siksi aika meneekin aina niin äkkiä! Huomenna lennän Brysseliin. Kivaa viikkoa!
Midsummer through my phone – Hello! Back to reality after Midsummer. Today I flew to Budapest and back. The pictures in this post are from my phone taken over the Midsummer weekend. We were traditionally at the summer house. The weather was quite cold, but since it didn’t rain I don’t complain! On Saturday it was sunny for a moment. Right before Midsummer I came home from New York and I think my flu didn’t like the flight. Maybe it was a little cold in the crew rest area, because after the rest my throat was sore again. During the weekend the flu was kind of on-off all the time, so I took the celebrations quite easy.
The Midsummer was focused on food and drinks in good company, as always. I had to skip the Midsummer sauna and the traditional Midsummer day karaoke because of my flu though. The Midsummer with family and relatives is always full of fun (and maybe weird) activities! The last picture can give a little hint… Maybe that’s why the time always flies. Tomorrow I will fly to Brussels. Have a nice week!
