December roster

annimarian december roster

December roster – Heippa!

  • HEL – CPH – HEL -OUL (layover) (Copenhagen)
  • OUL – HEL – IVL – KTT – HEL (Oulu, Ivalo, Kittilä)
  • HEL – RVN – HEL – OUL (layover) (Rovaniemi)
  • OUL – HEL – IVL – KTT – HEL
  • BRU (Brussels)
  • DXB (layover) (Dubai)
  • NRT (layover) (Narita, Japan)
  • HEL – GOT – HEL – OUL (layover) (Gothenburg)
  • OUL – HEL – BUD – HEL (Budapest)
  • MUC (Munchen)
  • AGP (Malaga)

December roster – Hello! So this is how my December roster looks like! Originally I had flights on both Christmas and New Year, but luckily I managed to change them, so I can go to the north for the Christmas 🙂 Except for Dubai and Narita I am flying mostly domestic and European flights. Do you travel somewhere for Christmas?

    Hello,
I really like you blog! Cabin crew is my dream job and to read you blog is like I can, some how, experience this job through the blog. Thank you 🙂

May I ask you some questions about Finnair cabin crew recruiting process? ….like … How long have you wait for the email after you got the video interview process? and how long does it take to become a cabin crew from the day the you applied the job? If you can’t answer that’s ok

    Thank you
    Merry Christmas !!!

Hello! Thank you for your nice comment 🙂 I’m happy to hear you like my blog!

I think the recruitment process is quite different now compared to when I applied. I don’t know how the process goes nowadays, so unfortunately I can’t answer your questions. Hope you have your answers soon anyway! 🙂

Hello! Thank you for your comment! You mean you would work for a Finnish airline while living in London? I think theoretically it could be possible, but it would be very time consuming and expensive also. You would also need to have an apartment or other place to be in Helsinki for the times you have to do standby. It is possible to ask for long haul flights, but there is no guarantee you would get them. Why not move to Helsinki? 😉

Thank you for your quick answer…I guess moving to HEL will be the easiest and safest option then 😀

    Hello!
I found you on YouTube and how you make videos about the layovers and I was thinking if you could do a video about the company Finnair. How is it? How’s the job? Which layovers do you have? Can you choose your destinations? Do they give you allowance? How many hours do you spend in the layover city? How much do they pay you? How’s your roster? How’s the training? Does Finnair pay for your accommodation? Do they pick you up to go to the airport? How’s living in Helsinki? Can you commute?

And I have more questions but I don’t want to blow you up with more haha!

Thank you in advance and keep it up!

      Hello!
I’m glad you have found my youtube channel and my blog! You have a lot of interesting questions and I can answer you some of them now. I don’t think I would do a video about it, since I’m not flying anymore, but you never know… 🙂
It is possible to wish for specific layover cities and quite often they are able to give us the flights we have asked for, but not always. The time spent at the layover city can be anything from 24 hours to one week. It depends on the destination.
The salary of a flight attendant is not particularly high and that is one of the reasons I decided to quit. Living in Helsinki (or the surrounding areas) is quite expensive, especially compared to the salary. The public transportation in Helsinki is very good, it is easy to reach the airport. At the destinations the company has arranged the transportation to the hotel and back to the airport, but in Helsinki you have to do it yourself.

I hope my answers helped you! 🙂

Hello, Compliments for your blog! I will follow flight academy soon, but I live in Italy and I don’t have any idea about the best accomodation solutions not far from Vantaa. Could you please give me some ideas? Thx!

Hello! Gongratulations on your new career! I would say it would be easiest if you live near the railway or a bus route that takes you directly to the airport 🙂
